Hi Rocky. Can you say which operating system (with version) and browser you are testing on? I am not able to reproduce the error you are reporting.

It is not working. Shows this error in console on any browser. Failed to load loader-debug.js.

It's supposed to work without reloading, might be a bug in Chrome.

Question: In Chrome the effect runs perfectly once, but then doesn't work until the page is reloaded. Is that by design?

Yes, feMerge is your friend to stack things up. You can also use feComposite to do a multiply, for example, between different sources.

I am working on a site where I am using some of these techniques (playing a hidden video, then manipulating the pixel data that I pull using canvas, then displaying the result) but I cannot for the life of me figure out a way to get this to work on a tablet device. I understand that in the current state, this will never work on a phone, because on a phone a video will always overtake the entire screen, but it should be able to in theory work at least on a tablet. I noticed your example here also doesn't work on a iPad. Do you have any idea how to get it to work?

I tried to download the source code, but somehow it seems that it is deficient (for example, the file res/3.0/scripts/yui/loader/loader-debug.js seems to be missing). Could you please update the source files?

I'm using Firefox 15.0 under Ubuntu Studio and the video playback doesn't work. Istead I see a HTML5 viewer. Also no animated "play" button in the circle.
